With the joint efforts of the Macao SAR Government and the MICE industry, the international status of the MICE industry has been continuously enhanced, and those efforts have been recognised by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and other international bodies. Macao has a strong commitment to support industry training and accreditation for local MICE practitioners, in order to provide high quality services to international event organisers.
The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) provides a “One-stop Service” for international business events, including free consultation and event support services. IPIM has also launched the “Convention and Exhibition Financial Support Programme” to offer financial support for accommodation, dining, advertising, speakers to the organisers.
